TRI-OPERATOR

The Tri-Operator is like a military triathlon. A personal Ironman
for FF Athletes. It consists of:
-10k Run
-1500m Swim
-10k Ruck

This event, like a triathlon, is timed from start to finish. That includes transitions (i.e., changing from running clothes to swimming gear, back to rucking, etc.). Most FF Athletes will be doing this wherever they are. That means designing their "course" however possible. So because it is not apples-to-apples, and some guys' courses will allow for faster transitions than others, the way scores are reported will be to list your time for each event and THEN the total time. This way, your performance is accounted for even if you are dealt a bad hand as far as where you can run, ruck and swim. Nonetheless, the final decider of the winner is for the total time. So plot your courses with this in mind.

Sounds good, I work the night of the 28th. It kinda works out since it gets so hot I will start at 0200 that morning. Thanks for the input, looking forward to it.

Well the thing is, most people are simply going to have more time on a saturday. Having said that, you should do it when it works for you.

You are free to wear whatever- so PT is probably a better idea.

I know this is suppose to be done on the 28th but what if we do it a day or two later. For me I am going to have to do this in the morning due to the extreme heat and I work Mids. If I have to work that night there is no way I will be able to complete this. Also for the Ruck are we doing this in Uniform or PT? Thanks for the info and looking forward to it.

Our standard load for rucks (unless otherwise specified) is 50 lbs.

What will the ruck weight be?

This will be posted on SATURDAY, August 28. We will have an out-of-the-ordinary schedule the preceding week to taper down and rest before/after.

When will this be happening or is it do it when you can and post scores when completed?
