heart attack
hey guys, I don't know if anybody else on here is religious, and we don't really talk about that on here, but if you are, I would really appreaciate it if you'd say a prayer for my dad. found out in the middle of the night last night he had a heart attack. he's stable for now, but not out of the woods yet.

Got ya covered bro. I'll mention it to my family to keep him in there prayers as well. Glad he is stable, just keep praying and stay with him, he'll pull through.

Thanks guys. From what I could get out of the hospital he's at (other side of the country), they did one angioplasty and will do another in a day or two. Apparently he went to the hospital for some wierd back pains, and they figured out he was in the middle of a really bad heart attack.
Anyway he's doing ok for now, keep the prayers coming. Thanks again.

updates- so the doc finally got us some details, and it was pretty nasty, like on a scale of 1-10, it was an 8. He'll be in the hospital for a few weeks.

My dad has his second angioplasty today. They had a bit of a scare yesterday when his blood pressure dropped dangerously low. I guess they fixed that with nitro and a salt iv (or so I'm told), and he's back up to a safe level and able to go through the procedure today. The procedure's at 8:30 pacific time, so 11:30 eastern. Say a prayer again if you would.
Thanks again guys, I appreciate it. One thing I love about FF is that guys from around the country (and the world, really) give a damn about stuff like this. We have a good community on here.

They're looking up. They released my dad, but he's still on heavy meds and is basically stuck out on the west coast for a couple weeks. Constant checkups, etc. Then if everything's improved as much as it's supposed to, they'll clear him to go home.
