Fatal Fitness

I am leaving Dec 8th for basic and indoc and I was wondering where my times should be as far as running, finning, swimming etc...
My 1 1/2 time is 9:58
500m swim is 8:38
1500m fin is 31:20
I am a pretty big guy, so it seems looking at the other PJ's, Im 6'2 and 200lbs; so running is pretty rough on me.I am great at long distance running because i've done a few half marathons (13.1 miles) averaging about a 8 mins miles, but i feel like whatever I do I will never be ready.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do as far as training these last few weeks?? Thanks for you time it is greatly appreciated!!

Dude we are literally the same exact size. You can never prepare enough for anything and as a fellow PJ hopeful I know where your coming from. Just make sure you've got your nuts packed tight, and never quit. Event, Team. Thats all that matters. Don't focus on whats next or whats ahead, just be into that moment and your team. You'll be fine. I'm right around the same area you are with times. Sorry this isn't much help, but goodluck and Godspeed.
Thanks alot man. I just ordered the DVD set rescue warriors, I don't know if you've ever watched it but i've been stealing some exercises i've seen them doing as far as 25m underwaters and freestyle back etc.... Its def a good DVD to watch and will give recruits a mental gut-check! Im excited and determined to be successfull!
BTW>>>>>I'll Find out monday, but if I don't leave Dec 8th I will be leaving March 23rd with you for BMT!
That'd be badass man. We'll def. stick together during indoc if you end up going the same date as I am. Keep me posted!

And I've watched the Rescue Warriors on youtube, but not sure if they are as long as your dvd is.
Will do man!!

You can order the videos from pacificcoastvideo.com for like $45 bucks!
Thanks bud, I'll pick it up next pay check. When do you hear about when you leave?
I will find out today!! They Gave the new PAST to like 20ppl that were set to leave and if anyone failed I will take their spot!
You are plenty prepared for basic. I went to basic at Fort Benning, Ga. (Army Infantry), and you would be in the A running group at the begining of basic. I would recommend to keep doing what you're doing and take a few days off before you start basic so you can start fresh. If your basic is anything like mine you're in for 3 hours of sleep a night and midnight smokings. But from what i hear from other MOS's besides Infantry, basic is a cake walk . We did'nt do any swimming in Airborne school or Air Assault school, but i used to swim competitively, and your times are pretty good, so I imagine you're in a pretty good position as far swimming goes. Thanks for serving our country and good luck!
Thanks for the input man, Im not sweating basic at all though!! Im more worried about my indoc for my AFS. (pararescue) The attrition rate is close to 90%. And is a very physically demanding, sleep depriving, workout untill your eyes bleed type of thing lol...
Exactly, AF BMT = loss of strength/endurance...INDOC is where it's at.

Any news on your slot?
No, it looks like we"ll be going together!!
haha, a fatal fitness team for indoc!
