I currently have the rocky S2V's. Pretty bad ass for rucking and super comfortable. They come in desert and poop green. A little heavier than I thought they would be, but I definitely reccomend them. They are kind of on the expensive side, but if you shop around you can find them for around $150. I bought mine from botachtactical.com. Hope this hepls.
thanks bbak; funny you sould mention the rocky S2V. I have the deserts already that are currently my everyday work boots. You are correct about the weight, a little heavier than I would like on my ruck boots but they do offer great comforablity. Anyone else using anything different?

stick with the rocky. they are solid. im in the combat control pipeline, 2 weeks in at CCS and when it comes to rucking which i have done a hell of a lot of theres nothing better imo.
I completed a 12 mile ruck march wearing a pear of Danner GTX. No blisters, light weight. At the time they came in desert but are now available in AF green.
