Fatal Fitness

Rumor's have been that if you quit in INDOC or training, you are no longer re-classed and are now honorably discharged.

I spoke with my recruiter, and some SOF's on Shadowspear.com, come to find out it's true(for the most part). Only 10% of washout's are recommended for re-class, so for those thinking they'll get TACP if they wash, just be happy if you stay in the USAF.

The Air Force is currently 4,000 Airman over capacity, and are using high-wash out rated school's to cut the excess fat, tightening up recruiting and "forcing" the 20+ year Airman to retire, if not needed.

Tighten up guys, if you really want PJ, CCT, SERE, TACP, EOD, SOWT, I highly suggest your physically and mentally prepared and actually KNOW what your getting yourself into. For those of us who are already in a contract, I HIGHLY suggest, you use this as motivation, I know I am.

"I'm pretty sure about half of every SERE and TACP class is full of PJ and CCT washouts. How it was when I got in, you usually got two shots for critically manned careerfields. "

Even the PJ and CCT's that didn't score high enough on their ASVAP tests? I know out of all the AF special forces SERE has the highest ASVAB score requirements. If they go from PJ/CCT to SERE, do they have to retake the ASVAB before even thinking about doing SERE? Just wondering how that worked out. Thanks
