I didn't start team forged, obviously, so it's not my call, but what do you guys think about having official "team forged" benchmarks; that is, specific, scalable lifts/events that we should all strive to have certain levels of performance at?
For example, I push the guys I teach in my class to get:
deadlift: 2x their bodyweight
pullups: at LEAST 12 without kipping
mile run: under 6:30
ring pushups (with rings level to where feet are): 50 without stopping- must be deep and solid form!
what do you guys think?
on another note, the cadre and I have been discussing getting a specific day to have a competition between the teams to see who averages the best score. we'll keep you posted.
