I left KAF about a month ago. But there are all sorts of guys doing crossfit type workouts there. The Air Force gym in Camp Losono is set up pretty well for it. As is the gym over on the Mustang Ramp.

Hey Guys, I'm in the Navy on an IA with the Army going to Kandahar. I'm going to be part of the PRT over there. See you guys in January and lookin forward to some serious pt.

No, not really. Maybe one or two a week. OSI is doing a bang up job breaking up the rocketeer cells. I'm leaving here, again, very soon, hopefully I don't have to come back again.

got to love kandahar, been home for about 5 months now did a year in that joint on and off, was out in lagman,  built patrol base luke and did azi zulu.... they still sendin rockets in that place like crazy??? think we had 200 plus rocket attacks when i was there

Timmy Hortons used to be on the boardwalk, but now it is in the Canook compound. The gym and the Timmy Ho's are like 50 yards apart now.

Canadian gym is pretty money, especially if you get in with the Crossfit Club. But they are pulling out soon. I heard yesterday that the AF is in the process of putting a gym together at Losano, but all of the equipment is coming from Iraq. So that will take FOREVER.

The prison gym is still pretty good..they dont care about having 2 pairs of shoes. The only thing to remember is that they close the gym now for cleaning around 2am-3am and i believe 11-noon.

You mean Globo-Gym? I hate that place. I am always afraid that I am going ot break something and afraid to make a mess of some sort. Reminds me of corporate health clubs. I'm surprised they don't have tennis courts. I prefer the prison gym whenever I am on that side of base.
