Fatal Fitness

Just failed my tacp past test after passing last month

So, ive done fatalfitness all month up until yesterday and expected to blow last months scores out of the water. But I was surprised to find out that our test was actually today instead of saturday. So I was sore and not rested for the test. So much for improving all my scores...

I went through a few schools were they were very picky about pushups. It's easier for them to see you lock out if your hands are closer together but it requires a little more tricep strength. Good luck on Sunday.

I get another chance to take the test on Sunday. I'm not sure if it's actually been a whole month, but my Sgt gave me this site after last month's drill and I haven't missed a day since.  Before fatalfitness I just worked out by doing my own thing with pullups, pushups, dumbell workouts, running. It was not as consistent or as intense because I was hardly ever sore except for when I'd run 5+ miles. We are doing some tactical drills tomorrow through the night, then we get to rest up on Saturday. So I'm not really too worried about it, because the only section I failed was pushups because they said I wasn't locking out my elbows all the way and only counted 6 reps! (43 last month) But as far as the rest of the test, I actually improved. My 1 minute situps went from 46 to 48, my run time for 1.5 mile went from 11:08 to 11:03, and my pullups stayed at 10. So for being sore and still showing slight improvement from last month, I'm not too worked up about it and I plan on passing Sunday.

How long until you retake the test? You have been here for a month? What was your workout routine prior to starting fatal fitness? If it wasn't as intense then I am sure your body hasn't fully adjusted yet. Give it some time and you will improve. Don't get down too much it happens. There is alot mentally too that can get you. If your sore to start and thats what your thinking it becomes hard to push past your mental barrier you just put up. I would not even think about this test you just did and start gearing toward your next one. Push hard and continue to do what you are doing and you will blow it out on the next one.
