Working on my deadlift. After watching the video I probably need to watch my initial lift.

Nice, that's my max with overhand too. I'm pretty lucky, since my school's weight room is pretty small (couple power racks, machines, bench press stations, and dumbells) they're pretty lax about what I can do... I even get away with not wearing shoes, lol. I can't drop my weights, though... I wish I had bumper plates.

Doug did it today up to 405 and used an overhand false grip up to 315. I felt it in my forearms so I switch to the alternating grip for the rest. I am at a school now so I can't do alot of the regular lifts on here. They said I can't do the power/olympic style lifts because they redid the floor. I have to use the power rack and I had to stack weights and a box which isn't very stable. Very upset about this.

Hmm. My grip is my deadlift's weak point... I maxed today with the overhand, and tried the alternating grip for the first time. My lift with the alternating grip was 20lbs better than the overhand, and I didn't try to max it. So, yeah, I need to work on grip. Rope sounds like an idea.

I think a camera would be especially nice when squatting, as I find it pretty hard to keep track of everything going on when I'm doing a back squat.

I do use a over hand grip as well from time to time. At that weight its probably about the same. I have a pretty good grip. I use to and still sometimes do a lot of pulling with rope. That really helped out my grip. 400 I am not sure i can pull with a overhand grip I will have to give it a try.

I wish I knew how my weight stays so low. I eat alot and I lift alot. I don't know small frame I guess. Ha.

The camera is nice cause then you can see some mistakes you might be making. Until i watched it I didn't realize that the initial pull I didn't keep my back as straight as I should have.

Very nice.

Now I'm wondering how many can you do with just an overhand grip, since that's how I do mine. I'm thinking I can do 3-4 with overhand grip...

And how do you weigh under 160? Lol.

I should find a camera for form work...
